I have had a few friends and relatives ask me how did i go about repairing my credit. Based on the number of requests for documents and the steps i took i decided to start writing various articles related to credit repair and clean up.
The first step to credit report is to identify what is on your credit. I currently use TrueCredit Monitoring Services which is 14.95 a month, I don’t advice this service until you have received your free report from www.annualcreditreport.com
You can also get a free report if you have been denied credit from the agency that the credit grantor you applied from used. You typically get a letter in the mail 7-10 business days stating the reason and agency used from the credit grantor that denied you. In my past experiences i have visited the web site of the agency used by the credit grantor and found a link for free credit reports based on the fact that you have been denied credit.
Once you receive your credit reports from all THREE credit agencies you have completed a portion of MY step one. Once you have your credit report you must identify the negative or derogatory accounts on your report, or simply the accounts you wish to not have visible on your reports. Then on to step two! |
