I finally recieved my laptop back from dell! The replaced the motherboard, keyboard, heat-sink and palm rest assembly! My warrenty went out on it a few months back but because of a class action lawsuit against dell and owners of the Dell Inspiron 1150 i was able to get my system repaired! woo hoo!

All that i had to do was call dell and let them know about the issues with my laptop. At first they said i would have to purchase another warrenty before i mentioned to them i knew of the lawsuit. The representative put me on hold for a few minutes and came back sayign he spoke with his supervisor and i was correct in regards to them fixing my laptop. The next day DHL was there with a box and waited while i removed my removable media devices(cd rom, hard drive). The turn around was 2 weeks but well worth the wait as my laptop was back good as new!
