This week hasn't been a good week for me. Well let's say the past two weeks haven't been good. First it started out my power adapter on my Dell Inspiron 1150 was going bad. I'd have to wiggle it in order for it to actually work. So I ordered a new one from dell which took forever and I canceled the order. Then I ordered one from ebay but the day before I got it I spilled coffee on my keyboard and that went out. Mind you this is while I am working on a project for a client. So I went to target and bought a wireless usb mouse and keyboard just to keep working on my Dell Inspiron 1150 while waiting on a keyboard I ordered off ebay.

So I get the power adapter and it works for my Dell Inspiron 1150! I was happy and just waiting on the keyboard. So two days ago I take everything upstairs to plug into the router so I can download the new mims cd.... I didn't have all the cables in my hand and I stepped on the power cable as it was plugged into the computer and this is what it looks like.

so I had to use one part of the old adapter with another part of the new adapter to get power to my beast however... since the cable bent while plugged in it messed up the power jack in the computer. I figured out that at a certain angle it would work so I had to put this little foam football under my laptop in order for it to get power like the picture below.

so now i am stuck. i can eiter pay dell $400 to extend my expired service plan on my Dell Inspiron 1150 and they come out and fix it all or i can get a new machine. my credit is jacked and dell denied me! argh!!
